It’s that time of year again when I go crazy planning a birthday party! My youngest daughter is turning 4! She requested a ‘rainbows and unicorns’ party! This should be fun! I decided to blog about my process of planning and where I find my good deals so I don’t go bankrupt in the process!!! I’m linking exactly what I bought so it’s nice and easy for you! This entire post will clearly be themed but there are many different themes you can find through the links!

First off when planning a party I make a checklist of everything I will need!

Check List

  • table cloth
  • plates
  • napkins
  • cups
  • decor
  • pinata
  • cake

Now where to find good deals on party supplies so I don’t drop $300 on a birthday party….

This pinata is super cute and it’s actually priced cheaper than I’ve found at local stores. I don’t know about others, but my kids absolutely love pinatas at their parties so I always try to find one to match their theme.

My daughter begged and begged to play some games at her party so I found this super cute “pin the horn on the unicorn” game! I cannot wait to watch her and her friends play this cute game!

This awesome set here takes care of the plates and napkins in a nice little combo! (thank you amazon!)

Here is another great set that helps incorporate the rainbows with unicorns and the price is AMAZING!!! This one is great because it includes cups and a banner as well!

If you don’t like those colors, Amazon has this other set that I actually might purchase instead! My daughter likes it better because it actually has a rainbow and unicorn on the plates.

I’m not sure where you’re located but where I am, Party Galaxy is usually the go-to place for balloons and in the past I have used them. However after searching around online, this deal is too good to pass up!!!

This is the place where I got her tutu for her party outfit! They have bomb sales and I love that all of their products are dress up clothes. I also purchased two of her birthday presents from the Little Adventures store!

I’m having a friend make her shirt to complete her outfit! You can see her work here

She is amazing and makes all kinds of stuff for us!!! Check her out, you will not be sorry!

Another way to save some money when it comes to parties is:

Make the cake or cupcakes yourself!

I almost always make my kids cakes myself. I am by no means a baker but I can do a decent enough job and for a fraction of the price!

If you’re  just not the baking type, another option is to find someone local that you know. They may be cheaper on prices and possibly willing to give you a good deal.
